Return Policy for Original Artwork
Thank you for supporting independent art. I want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Because original artwork is unique and delicate, please review our return policy carefully before initiating a return.
1. Return Window
You have 30 days from the date your artwork was delivered to request a return. Return requests made after this window will not be accepted.
2. Return Shipping Costs
• Buyer’s Expense: All return shipping costs are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
• Non-Refundable Shipping: Original outbound shipping fees paid at the time of purchase are non-refundable.
3. Packaging & Insurance Requirements
Original artwork is fragile and must be handled with care.
• Original Packaging: The artwork must be returned in its original box and all original protective packaging materials (or equivalent professional-grade art packaging).
• Tracking & Insurance: You must ship the return using a trackable shipping service and purchase shipping insurance for the full value of the artwork. We are not responsible for returns that are lost or damaged in transit. If the artwork arrives back to us damaged due to poor packaging, a refund will not be issued, and you will need to file a claim with your shipping carrier.
4. Condition for Eligibility
To be eligible for a refund, the artwork must arrive back at our studio in its original, pristine, and undamaged condition. It must not show any signs of wear, display, exposure to smoke or moisture, or alteration.
5. Final Sale Items
• Custom & Commissioned Pieces: All custom orders, commissioned artwork, and personalized items are Final Sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
• Sale Items: Any artwork purchased on clearance or during a promotional "Final Sale" event cannot be returned.
6. How to Initiate a Return
1. Contact me at abigailcookartist@gmail.com within your return window. Please include the reason for the return.
2. Once your return is approved via email, carefully pack the artwork according to the guidelines above.
3. Ship the package to the return address provided in our confirmation email and reply to us with your tracking number.
7. Refunds & Processing
Once the artwork is safely received, I will physically inspect it to ensure it is in its original condition.
• Approved returns will be refunded in, 5-7 business days.
• You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been processed
